  • Nepal

AIESEC VUB started a new PBOX (Project Based On eXchange) this year with a project concerning Nepal. A group of students will travel to Nepal in the summer of 2010 to spend 5 weeks working as volunteers in 2 orphanages in Kathmandu.  They will perform a cost-benefit analysis in  order to develop a sustainable plan to raise the living standard over the long term.  Aside from that, they will also start up a new branch of AIESEC in the biggest university of Nepal.

Before the trip, there will be several activities in preparation of the project. There will be an info day and a fund raising activity in the second semester, a search for sponsors, and workshops to prepare the students for their time abroad.

For more information about the project, feel free to contact Bert Wouters at bewouter@vub.ac.be

  • Brussels By Night

A new way to discover Brussels! Games, party and fun all night long.  BBN will partner up with AIESEC ICHEC and AIESEC HUB. More info: phan.qv@gmail.com.

  • ASK/HIV (april)

As last year, this project is about informing the VUB student about possible STD's and sexual prevention. A team of 5 students went to Lagos and visited several schools and institutions to raise awareness. We would like to continue this succesful project and invite several NGO's that are working in the same context. To round up the Project, there will be a fund raise party in the same context of the project. We are thinking about contacting BTS to see if they are interested in doing a co-op on this party, in order to achieve a broader public. The Ask/HIV project will be organized by Kessy and her team.
